Barbell Club FAQs
Below are four commonly asked questions (and answers) that can help you understand the benefits and logistics of Barbell Club:
Do I need prior barbell experience to join?
While some familiarity with basic lifts is helpful, our instructors are ready to refine your technique and coach you through proper form. If you’re comfortable with exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench press, you’ll fit right in.
Which lifts will we focus on?
The core of Barbell Club centers on compound movements—like squats, bench press, and deadlifts—along with accessory exercises to build strength and support your main lifts.
Is Barbell Club only for competitive lifters?
Not at all. While some members may train for powerlifting meets or other competitions, anyone who wants to increase their strength and improve technique is welcome.
How often should I attend sessions?
Two to three times a week is ideal, giving you the balance of training stimulus and recovery time. Our structured programming helps you progressively build strength while minimizing risk of injury.
