Small Group Personal Training FAQs
Below are four commonly asked questions (and answers) that can help you understand the benefits and logistics of Small Group Personal Training:
How is Small Group Personal Training different from large group classes?
Small groups typically have 3–6 participants, allowing the trainer to offer more personalized attention and tailor workouts to each individual, compared to larger classes where coaching must be broader.
Is it still personalized if I’m training with a group?
Yes. Trainers can adapt exercises, intensity, and progression for each participant’s goals and fitness level. You’ll get the benefits of personal training plus the motivation of a small, supportive team.
Will Small Group PT save me money compared to one-on-one sessions?
Often, yes. Because the cost is shared among a few participants, you can access expert coaching for a lower per-person rate while still receiving focused guidance.
What if I have a different fitness level than others in the group?
Trainers design sessions to accommodate various abilities. By offering modifications and progressions, everyone can stay challenged and safe, regardless of their starting point.
